The Circle
Everything you need to know before stepping through the threshold.
Yes. Member privacy is fundamental to the Society. We do not disclose member identities, attendance records, or any personal information to third parties under any circumstances. Your standing within the Society is known only to those you choose to tell.
Photography and recording are strictly prohibited at all Society gatherings, within all Houses, and at all partner venues. This is not a request — it is an absolute condition of attendance. Members who violate this policy are removed from the Society without exception.
No. The Society hosts a broad range of experiences — from wellness retreats and candlelit dining salons to masked gatherings, immersive art evenings, and private celebrations. Some events are intimate in nature; others are purely social, artistic, or restorative. The common thread is quality, curation, and discretion — not any specific type of content.
Never. Observation is equally respected within the Society. There is no expectation, encouragement, or pressure to participate in any activity. Consent is sacred and boundaries are absolute. You may attend, witness, and engage entirely on your own terms.
Yes, subject to review and compatibility assessment by the Council. Solo members are welcomed across all membership tiers. The Society is not a couples-only environment — many of our most valued members attend independently.
All Houses and partner venues undergo a private vetting process conducted by the Society's operations team. We assess privacy standards, physical security, service quality, architectural character, and cultural alignment with the Society's values. Venues are never disclosed publicly and are communicated only to confirmed attendees.
Applications are reviewed personally by the LLS Council. You will be assessed on your written responses, the quality of your referral where applicable, and your compatibility with the existing membership. The process typically takes two to four weeks. You will receive a decision by email. The Society does not provide detailed feedback on unsuccessful applications.
Consent is sacred. Every interaction within the Society begins and ends with mutual respect and enthusiastic, ongoing consent. Any member who violates another's boundaries — at a gathering, within a House, or in any Society-connected context — is removed from membership permanently. There is no appeals process for consent violations.
No. Membership is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be gifted, sold, shared, or passed to another individual. Each member is considered individually, and standing within the Society is earned, not purchased or inherited.
We understand that plans change. Please notify the Society as early as possible if you are unable to attend a confirmed event. Cancellations made within 48 hours of an event may affect your priority for future bookings, as our gatherings are intentionally small and waitlists are common. Contact Member Services through your account dashboard to manage your registrations.
